Phil Suttle is the founder of Suttle Economics, providing independent analysis of the global economy and financial markets. He previously served as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Economist at the Institute of International Finance and as Global Head of Emerging Markets Research at Barclays Capital. Earlier in his career, he held positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and Bank of England. His experience across public institutions and private markets gives him a broad perspective on international macroeconomics, capital flows, emerging markets, and the global economic outlook. Suttle studied at Oxford University.
