Making Sense of the Midterm Elections

featuring

Harold Ford, Jr.

Vice Chair of Wholesale Banking at Truist Financial Corporation

SUMMARY

The harsh arithmetic of American politics is that the day after a national election, the next one is less than two years away.  The midterm elections served as warmup to an even more contentious presidential contest. Former Congressman Harold Ford will review the results of the midterm elections, making sense of the control of Capitol Hill and its relationship with the White House. He will also explain how it sets the foundation for a grueling two-year presidential contest.
