BIO

Bruce Kasman is Chief Economist and Head of Global Economic Research at J.P. Morgan, where he leads the firm’s analysis of the global economy and economic policy. He directs its flagship economic publication, Global Data Watch. Kasman joined J.P. Morgan in 1994 and previously headed European economic research. Earlier, he was a senior international economist at Morgan Stanley and worked in the International Research Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. His work emphasizes the linkages among economies, markets, and policy regimes and brings a global perspective to economic forecasting. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University.
