Nancy Prior is president of Fidelity’s Fixed Income division, where she has strategic oversight of Fidelity’s Global Bond and Money Market groups. Combined these groups manage more than $785 billion in assets on behalf of retail, intermediary and institutional clients across the globe. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing and other financial products and services to more than 20 million individuals, institutions and financial intermediaries.
Ms. Prior was promoted to president of Money Markets in 2011, and she expanded her responsibilities in 2013 to oversee short duration bonds, which includes portfolios investing in diversified fixed income securities ranging from ultra-short to intermediate maturities. Before heading Money Markets, Ms. Prior was managing director of Credit Research from 2009 to 2011, where she was responsible for leading a team of research associates in the financial and structured products sectors. From 2002 to 2009, she held several positions within the Fixed Income legal team including senior vice president and deputy general counsel.
Before joining Fidelity in 2002, Ms. Prior was a business and finance associate at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky&Popeo, P.C. from 2001 to 2002, vice president, general counsel and secretary at Advantage Schools, Inc. from 2000 to 2001, and a business and finance associate at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky&Popeo, P.C.from 1994 to 2000. She has been in the investments industry since 1994.
Ms. Prior earned her artium baccalaureus degree in government from Harvard College and her juris doctor degree from Northeastern University School of Law.
