Karina Funk, CFA
Karina Funk is a partner at Brown Advisory and co-portfolio manager of the Brown Advisory Large Cap Sustainable Growth strategy. Karina has served as an investment manager for the Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust, a state fund established to invest in renewable energy applications that involve grid-tied electricity generation. Karina holds a Master of Science Degree from MIT in Civil & Environmental Engineering as well as Technology & Policy. She holds a Post-Graduate Diploma from EcolePolytechnique in France, an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, and is a CFA charter holder. She has also served as a principal at Charles River Ventures, an early stage VC fund, and an equity analyst for the Winslow Green Growth Fund. She speaks globally on topics related to environmentally-oriented investing and sustainability.
